ബാലുശ്ശേരി** : കോവൂർ ഇരിങ്ങാടൻപള്ളി കാളാണ്ടിതാഴം മനത്താനത്ത് മാലിന്യ ടാങ്ക് വൃത്തിയാക്കുന്നതിനിടെ വിഷവാതകം ശ്വസിച്ച് രണ്ടുപേർ മരണപ്പെട്ടു. മരണപ്പെട്ടവരുടെ കുടുംബത്തിന് അഞ്ച് ലക്ഷം രൂപ വീതം ധനസഹായം ലഭിക്കുമെന്ന് കെഎം സച്ചിൻ ദേവ് എംഎൽഎ അറിയിച്ചു. 2024 മെയ് 31നാണ് മാലിന്യ ടാങ്ക് വൃത്തിയാക്കുന്നതിനിടെ ബാലുശ്ശേരി മങ്കയം സ്വദേശി അശോകനും, കൂട്ടാലിട ചെങ്ങോടുമേൽ റിനീഷും മരണപ്പെട്ടത്.

അശോകന്റെ ഭാര്യ റീനയ്ക്ക് മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിയുടെ ദുരിതാശ്വാസ നിധിയിൽ നിന്ന് 5 ലക്ഷം രൂപ അനുവദിക്കും. റിനേഷിന്റെ ഭാര്യ പി പി ശരണ്യക്കും 5 ലക്ഷം രൂപ ധനസഹായം നൽകും. കെ എം സച്ചിൻ ദേവ് എംഎൽഎ വിഷയം മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിയുടെ ശ്രദ്ധയിൽപ്പെടുത്തിയതിന്റെ ഭാഗമായാണ് ധനസഹായം ലഭിക്കാനിടയായത്. ബുധനാഴ്ച നടന്ന മന്ത്രിസഭ യോഗത്തിലാണ് പ്രത്യേക ധനസഹായം അനുവദിച്ചിട്ടുള്ളത്.
